The distance between Tokyo and Hiroshima is about 560
miles. You can go there by bus, train or plane. By bus it will take 12 hours, and by
train you can reach Hiroshima by 15 hours. If you travel with an airplane between Tokyo to Hiroshima, It will take about 1 hour & 30 minutes.

Hiroshima
Peace Memorial Museum
The
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum was established in August 1955 on the 10th
anniversary of the atomic bomb. There are two wings of this museum east and
west. The east wing focuses on Hiroshima before the bomb. The West Wing concentrates on the damage caused by the bomb.
Photography is allowed and entry is reasonable 30¥ for school children and seniors and 50¥ for
adults. The museum is open year round.
Hiroshima
Castle
It
was built in 1590; the
Hiroshima Castle was home to the
daimyo or feudal lord of the Hiroshima fiefdom. The castle was destroyed by the
Atomic Bomb in 1945 but it was reconstructed in 1958.
Shukkeien Garden
Shukkeien Garden was first built in 1620. It was completely destroyed by the atomic bomb dropping in 1945 and it was rebuilt later. It's a nice, pleasant strolling garden.
The Atomic Bomb Dome
On August 1945, the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima by an
American B-29 bomber and destroyed the Dom. After the war the skeleton of the building remained as it was. Some wanted to see the site redeveloped, while others debated for its reestablishment. The latter group won and in 1966 the city council declared that it would preserve the building. In 1996 it was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage
List.
Itsukushima
Shrine at Miyajima
The
first Otorii of Itsukushima Shrine was constructed in 1168. During high tide, the Torii looks like it is floating on the sea. During low
tide, you can walk to the foot of the Torii. Itsukushima Shrine is regarded as one of Japan's top three sights.
Hassei
Among
